Hotel Surf Mar - Lloret de Mar

We had ourselves a right proper time! The staff was lovely, and the location near the beach was stellar. Food was decent, though breakfast could use a right good shake-up. a cracking stay with a few hiccups but can't moan too much!

The outdated rooms with worn-out furniture and poor air conditioning. The security issues are alarming, as they had no checks for room key replacements. Not ideal!!!

The proximity to the beach was great. Breakfast and dinner varied and delicious. Entertainment was also provided every day.

We had a problem with the key card for the hotel room. However, the problem was quickly solved.

The rooms are a bit aging and very good hearing, a thing that in the end did not disturb us, as we booked very cheaply. Parking costs money, but still people can enter without permission (next to our car two children played tennis). Too many school classes. (much too loud and at the buffet a pure food fight). Too many seagulls, who also like to shit on the couches. (one cleaning a day would be appropriate)

The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent, keeping us cool during the summer heat.

The bathroom fittings were outdated, and we faced issues with the shower not staying up.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Activities for kids on riny days is inexisting. Breakfast was unacceptable. Greasy food. For spain, I was expecting fresh fruits, not greasy eggs or greasy bacon. Nothing was there for babies. Very disppointing. But the great thing was that it was very close to the beach.

The hotel features a clean pool area with sun loungers that allows for comfortable lounging and relaxation. I loved the unique live entertainment options, including flamenco shows that added a vibrant touch to the evenings. The children's entertainment staff, Gemma and Jordi, engaged the kids!

The location is great, 1 km from a dazzling Modernista church. The hotel provides an excellent service.

The location near the beach is fantastic, providing easy access to the beautiful shoreline. The room was clean, which I appreciated, but the decor felt very dated and in need of a refresh. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us cool during warm days. A couple of meals I had were quite repetitive in nature, lacking variety, and some of the food was not served at the right temperature. Encountering loud groups of children running around made the evenings less enjoyable, especially with no staff intervention to manage the noise. The breakfast selection had plenty of options, yet there were limited vegetarian choices. My room key card gave me trouble a few times, a bit annoying. Housekeeping did a good job daily, but a little more attention to detail in the common areas would enhance the experience.

Had newly decorated, neat room that was kept very clean. Plus it had a fantastic view over the sea. Location: the hotel was short walk to feels safe, Lenmar bar/Restaurant, and Gerona airports.

Food and location is excellent.

this is not hotel with 4 stars, maybe only 1! The rooms are horrible, except on the first floor (and they are very poor). There is no mini fidge in room, and there is a ridiculous small tv! Genenraly, very disappointing.
